Mike has been with UCB for over seven years serving as a sourcing and procurement professional implementing innovative sourcing models, vendor strategic partnering arrangements, and spending improvement analysis focused on clinical research. Mike is currently Associate Director and Head of Outsourcing and Contracts Management for US, Japan and China. In his current role and previous 17 years in the industry, Mike has contributed to sourcing and clinical research based efforts to engage Sponsors with service providers. In addition to midsize biotech, his background includes CRO, analytical chemistry laboratory and automated/internet enabled procurement.
